Welcome to Domaine Lavau!

Nestled in the peaceful countryside of central France, Domaine Lavau is a former farmhouse estate set on a hill with breathtaking views, just outside the small village of Néret. The estate consists of a family home, two gîtes, a spacious artist's studio, and a large exhibition gallery.

The studio and adjoining expo area are the creative domain of visual artist Debbie Nijland. This is where she creates her artwork and regularly hosts exhibitions, often together with fellow artists from the region.

The estate's two gîtes, L'Atelier and L'Artisane, have been awarded an official three-star classification. From autumn 2026 onwards, they will be mainly dedicated to art retreats and other art-related activities. Domaine Lavau is easily accessible by car and is located less than three and a half hours south of Paris.

The studio and the adjacent exhibition space are the domain of visual artist Debbie Nijland. Here she works on her projects and exhibitions are regularly organized, often with artist friends from the region.

The two gîtes on the estate, named L'Atelier and L'Artisane, have an official three-star rating and will be primarily used for painting holidays and other art-related activities starting in autumn 2026. Domaine Lavau is a day's drive from the Netherlands and is located less than 3.5 hours south of Paris.
